Project Coordinator

Location: LancashireSalary: Up to £35,000 DOEHours: Monday-Friday, 7.30am – 4pm

Working closely with the Senior Technical Contracts Manager, you’ll play a key role in coordinating projects from mobilisation through to completion, ensuring engineers, subcontractors and clients are fully supported throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate commercial HVAC and mechanical projects from start to finish.
  • Prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
  • Support compliance with CDM 2015 regulations and maintain Health & Safety documentation.
  • Schedule engineers, subcontractors and site activities.
  • Coordinate labour, materials, plant, equipment and site access requirements.
  • Maintain and update CAFM/job management systems.
  • Produce project reports, trackers and project documentation.
  • Prepare Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals and handover documentation.
  • Raise purchase orders and support procurement activities.
  • Track project progress, costs and variations.
  • Assist with quotations, invoicing and financial administration.
  • Maintain accurate project files, action logs and document control.
  • Arrange permits, inductions and compliance documentation.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
  • Attend project meetings and provide administrative support throughout the project lifecycle.

About You We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator or similar role.
  • Experience within Construction, Building Services or Hard Facilities Management.
  • Experience using CAFM or job management systems.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage competing deadlines.

The following would be desired, but are not essential:

  • Knowledge of commercial heating systems.
  • Knowledge of commercial hot water systems.
  • Experience with air conditioning and ventilation projects.
  • NHS project experience.
