The Role
Reporting directly to the Board, the Managing Director will assume full responsibility for the overall performance of the business, providing strategic direction while ensuring operational excellence across all functions.
The successful individual will lead a well-established senior management team, driving commercial growth, strengthening client relationships and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic vision and operational capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the long-term strategic plan for the business.

- Oversee business planning, forecasting and financial performance.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across operations, manufacturing and project delivery.
- Represent the business with clients, industry stakeholders and strategic partners.
The Candidate
We are seeking an accomplished senior executive with a proven track record of leading complex construction or engineering businesses.
You will bring:
- Previous experience in a Managing Director, Regional Director, Business Unit Director or Operations Director position.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including full P&L responsibility.
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary operational teams.
- A background within construction, engineering, manufacturing or a related project-led environment.
- A proven ability to deliver business growth while maintaining operational excellence.
- Exceptional leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to build long-term client relationships and develop new business opportunities.
- A collaborative leadership style with the credibility to inspire teams across all levels of the organisation.
